    DID YOU KNOW? Squat racks should not be in front of a mirror. Athletes should focus on their body awareness (kinesthetic feedback), and they can get distracted when looking into the mirror which causes them to lose focus on the job at hand. It’s the job of the coach to use cue and language that their athlete will understand to get them in the right positions. Learning in front of a mirror hinders the development of the athletes when moving to more advance lifts down the track.

    DB Floor Press (Narrow) – This exercise is targeting primarily triceps and some chest involvement, this movement is really applicable to sports requiring the β€œfend off”, such as football and rugby. Using the floor allows the athlete to maintain a neutral spine and reduce the range of motion. This can be done in conjunction with full range of motion exercises such as Bench Press or DB Bench Press.

    @bryce_strength_coach showing us The Bulgarian Split Squat. "This exercise goes by many names, but regardless of what it is called it is a great unilateral lower push exercise. Today they were the main focus of my workout, while super setting them with a great upper body pull exercise of Supinated Chin Ups. Pro Tip: Instead of using a flat bench like many people do, use the round pad on a leg extension or half a foam roller on a flat bench. Your ankle with thank you for it!"
