I can't tell you guys how much I can relate to this! I'm sure you can too if you're a cosplayer like me.
It's very important for everyone to understand that in order for cosplayers to keep cosplaying at a convention, he/she needs a moment to have a break in-between. Like sitting down to rest your weary legs, going to the bathroom because your cosplay won't let you, eating some food and drinking their beverage after walking throughout the floor of a con and posing for the cameras numerous times. If someone wants to have a photo with you when you're on break, just politely say, "No." What's the worse that can happen when you say "No" in the first place? If that person can't understand and/or accept that, then it's their problem NOT YOURS. Simple as that. The last thing you wanna do is pass out in your cosplay because you didn't eat or drink enough to keep yourself energized during your time cosplaying at a convention. I almost did one time. And while you're at it with the food, when you are on food break from cosplaying, eat plenty of fruits and veggies with water for those vitamins that you're mom would tell you about all the time. A burger and fries with soda are good too, but they're not gonna get you fully energized and healthy that you should be for the rest of the day.
