"TO GIVE US NEW COLORS TO SEE, WHO KNOWS WHERE IT WILL LEAD US?" A dramatic musical sublime. A movie with not such a great story, but the mystic of a MODERN LOVE STORY! People choose dreams over love. Work over Romance.
City of stars where they are shown to be drifting apart leads to them actually break apart with saying, "I'm always gonna love you". Yes, it is not the best movie. But have you ever seen the kind of love which pushes subsequent partner to achieve their goals? Sebastian calls Mia a child prodigy playwright. Mia chose the name for Sebastian's jazz bar. Sebs🎶
The time where they both saw other after 5 years and imagined how it all could've ended (or started) ;
Starting off with Sebastian kissing Mia instead of ignoring her at their first meeting.
Them introducing each other to their dreams. Mia and Sebastian at the jazz bar where he chooses to say no to Kieth, not joining the band for money he never wanted.
Being there for Mia when she successfully completed her play; standing out from the crowd by wearing BROWN SUIT, instead of black that the rest of audience wore. Signifying his IMPORTANCE, the way he stood out of the crowd for her!
Going to Paris to support her, playing in a chateau while she shoots her movie. Coming back to open his own jazz bar.
Most importantly being with each other, painting the wall (which might seem small, but had the significance of a lifetime of covering each other's sorrows with colors), raising kids, AND BEING HAPPY.
Some movies don't deserve a happy ending, and tbh we don't deserve such movies.
