So, we started this part of our journey a year ago today, and to be completely honest, while watching that documentary about the Afghan war on Netflix, I never in a million years thought I was sitting next to the girl that I might spend the rest of my life with, let alone the next year.
But then she grew on me. We got in that car and everything changed. We were free. The most I had ever been. There was so much love and positivity on that trip, that it was kind of impossible for it not to stick, and it did. (The Southwest is a magical place. I strongly recommend visiting or living there!) And although we were both afraid that the love we’d found out there might not have been able to brave the harsh realities of this cold world after all the beauty we were exposed to through Bernie, we suffered a few weeks of Summer separation and family obligations, and both realized that our love had only grown stronger in the time that we were apart.
Erin Reagan, I’m the luckiest guy in the world to be able to spend my days with a woman as smart, kind, and beautiful as you. I love you more than I could ever put into words, and I wouldn’t be the me I am today if I didn’t have you to help guide me along the way. Here’s to many, many more years filled with good times and blessings! Together, not a damned thing in this whole wide world could ever stop us! Not even for a second! ✊❤✌️ #anniversary #dinner #italian #pasta #seafood #shellfish #gnocchi #beautiful #girlfriend #fiorino #philly #love #nofilter
